Winter Wings was produced by the Alaska Bird Observatory in 2006 with generous support from the Watchable Wildlife Conservation Trust, a joint program of the Alaska Department of Fish & Game and the Alaska Conservation Foundation.  The booklet includes photos and natural history information for 26 bird species commonly found throughout Alaska in winter.  The species profiles originally appeared in newspapers throughout Alaska in 2005 & 2006.
