Workshops, Walks, & Research Seminars
ABO offers workshops, nature walks, research seminars, and family programs throughout the year at our Center for Education & Research at 418 Wedgewood Drive in Fairbanks. Some upcoming events are listed below. Please check the event calendar for more events.

Tuesdays & Thursdays in July and August: Join us for a guided walk to our bird banding station at Creamer’s Field! Learn about ABO’s research and see songbirds up close! Meet at the Creamer’s Farmhouse Visitor Center at 10 AM. This is a great activity for out of town guests and locals alike! Call 451-7159 for details. These guided walks are available on the following dates: July 20, 22, 27, & 29 and August 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, & 19.
Friends of Creamer’s Field offers guided walks every morning (Monday-Friday) at Creamer’s Field from May 1 – August 31. The walks leave from the Farmhouse at 10 AM. There is an additional walk on Wednesday evening at 7 PM. Click here for more.
