ABO collaborates with other local groups to coordinate the annual Spring Migration Celebration and the Tanana Valley Sandhill Crane Festival at Creamer’s Refuge in Fairbanks.  Other events will be listed here.  Please check back often.

2010 Spring Migration Celebration May 1.

Join ABO, Friends of Creamer’s FieldArctic Audubon Societythe UAF student chapter of The Wildlife Society, Ducks UnlimitedCamp Habitat, Alaska Department of Fish & Game, National Park Service, and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to celebrateInternational Migratory Bird Day and spring migration in Fairbanks!  Activities will include bird viewing, puppet shows, guided walks, games, face painting, and much more.

The Tanana Valley Crane Festival is coordinated by Friends of Creamer’s Field and co-sponsored by the Arctic Audubon Society, the Alaska Bird Observatory, and the Alaska Department of Fish & Game.
